Region Portfolio: Evaluation of the QIA's Support programme for Train to Gain

The support programme for Train to Gain was set up to develop the capacity of the providers delivering Train to Gain provision. Our evaluation provided an independent view of the success of the programme in meeting its aims and objectives. The formative phase involved a desk review, interviews with the consortium delivering the development programme and an online survey to explore the planning process of the evaluation. The summative phase involved a documentary review of regional reports, interviews with key stakeholders, email survey of a sample of providers and follow-on interviews with providers.

 

The evaluation provided recommendations on the future options for taking the support programme forward.
